Gail loves making functional pottery and has been honing her craft for over twenty years. With two wheels, two kilns, a slab table, and all manner of texture instruments, trimming tools, and glazes, Gail loves to experiment.

She always loved playing with clay. When her daughters were young, she bought a table top wheel for them and was disappointed when the toy didn’t allow them to make anything much because the weight of the clay caused the thing to stop turning.

Once Gail received her first real pottery wheel, she started taking classes and reading books about the craft. She continues to take classes regularly, go to ceramic related events and has a complete pottery studio in her home.
